b) Tubes (Plastic):-
1) Centrifuge tube conical bottom:
Centrifuge tubes with conical bottom are available in two sizes i.e. 15ml. & 50 ml. Moulded in polypropylene; these tubes are clear, strong & safe. These autoclavable tubes are provided with printed graduation on the outer surface. The built in seal ring in the cap makes these tubes absolutely leak proof. These tubes can withstand force up to 7500xG&12000xG for 15 ml. & 50ml. Tubes respectively. These tubes are available sterilized as well as non-sterilized.

2) Centrifuge tube Round bottom:
Centrifuge tubes with round bottom are moulded in polypropylene & Polycarbonate these tubes have excellent clarity and are strong enough to be used up to 50,000xG these tubes can be autoclaved, however, repeated autoclaving in PC tubes reduces their mechanical.

3) OAK Ridge Centrifuge Tubes:
Oak ridge centrifuge tubes, made of polypropylene, have excellent contact clarity and can be used up to 50,000xG. The screw cap is fitted with silicon O-Ring making it totally leak proof. These tubes should not be used below 40C.

4) Test tube with Screw Cap:
These polypropylene tubes provide excellent aption for RIA, coagulation& bacteriology etc. he cap in screwed on to the tube & hence can be filled u to the brim.

5) Test tube Cap:
This transparent polypropylene cap for test tubes proves to be an excellent protection to the contents to the tubes. The grooves inside the cap tighten the fitting on the tube while the outer grooves would hold identification labels, the built in seal ring would set in the tube making the combination a leak proof one.

6) Test tube Stand:
This autoclavable stand is perhaps the most commonly used test tube stand in various laboratories. For better visibility, this 6 place rack is end supported by 2 columns. The top plate has 2 holes for holding 23 mm dia test tubes, four holes to hold 16 mm dia tubes where as the base has a corresponding hemispherical well. It also has six vertical pins for drying tubes.

7) Test tube Stand (Round):
A handy, little, space saver, this circular twelve place polypropylene test tube stand has four 25 mm dia holes & eight 19 mm dia holes in its top plate. The base has matching hemispherical well & 16 vertical pins or drying tubes surrounded by a trough to catch drippings. This autoclavable rack can be easily disassembled for cleaning purpose.
